We are thrilled to announce the winner of our 2026 Vehicle Sticker Contest, held among our amazing Kindergarten through 5th grade students in celebration of the Burbank Community and our district’s 150th Anniversary! This year’s Districtwide Winner is Johnny, a talented 5th Grade student at Burbank School!

We want to reassure you that our schools are safe and welcoming places for every child. Attached is a letter from Dr. Fleck that explains our district’s commitment to providing all students with a free and equal education, regardless of immigration status, and outlines the policies we follow to ensure student safety and support. District 111 offers a comprehensive after-school care program for students in Grades K-7. Registration includes a $55.00 non-refundable fee, which will be applied to the first week. In order to complete the registration process, all previous outstanding balances for PASS must be paid in full. Space is limited and on a first come first serve basis.

School supply kits for the 25-26 school year are now on sale! Follow the instructions to order one for your student. The kit includes everything your student needs (except a back pack) at a great price. The teachers curated the lists, so everything in the kit is required for that grade level. The sale ends on July 1st.

Burbank School District 111 remains committed to transparency and the protection of student information. As part of our ongoing communication regarding the PowerSchool security breach that occurred in December 2024, we are sharing the latest update provided by PowerSchool.

The regular meeting of the Board of Education was held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

All incoming kindergarten students for the 2025-26 school year are invited to come learn about Fry!

We are excited to announce that District 111 will be using TalkingPoints to communicate with parents and guardians.  TalkingPoints is a two-way multilingual family engagement platform helping teachers and school leadership stay connected with families via text message.  Next week, you will receive a message from your child’s school regarding TalkingPoints.
